To operate, you fill the 10 litre base container with cold water from the nearest fresh water source and you can either wheel the unit under a tap or pour in via a bucket. By switching on the power switch at the side, the unit warms the water to hand washing temperature. For a user to wash hands, they use their foot to activate the sensor which dispenses warm water, with waste water being collected in a separate and removable bucket in the top half of the unit. The unit features a safety cut off in case the unit drys out, which can be reset on the underside of the unit.
These units are great in workplace and catering environments to help implement hygiene standards where there is no previous plumbing. They are easy to use and can be placed anywhere with a power supply, without the need for mains water and waste.
