For this major sports event, Jongor Hire supplied over 22 kitchens across various sites, installed over the course of three months. Jongor Hire provided catering equipment, furniture and walk-in cold rooms for staff catering, hospitality and private vendors.
There were six planning meetings and a four site visits conducted before the event to ensure the build and implementation went to plan. Jongor installed temporary gas pipelines, water and waste supplies, to facilitate the kitchen operations for the event. During the live period, engineers were on standby on site to ensure that service was not disrupted. The increased security and prestige of the event created additional complexity, but everything was delivered on time and of the 23 engineer call outs over the event, 82% were fixed within two hours and the remaining 18% within 24 hours.
