For this major sports event, Jongor Hire supplied over 160 kitchens across various sites, installed over the course of three months. Jongor Hire provided catering equipment, furniture and walk-in cold rooms for staff catering, hospitality and private vendors.
There were over 20 planning meetings and a several site visits conducted before the event to ensure the build and implementation went to plan. Jongor installed temporary gas pipelines, water and waste supplies, to facilitate the kitchen operations for the event. During the live period, engineers were on standby on site to ensure that service was not disrupted. The increased security and prestige of the event created additional complexity, but everything was delivered on time (just!) and we even got to stop and see some of the sport being played.
