This prestigious sporting event is the largest hospitality event in Europe, with over 45,000 hospitality meals served over the five day event. From attending the planning meetings to counting back the last appliance after the event, our dedicated Event Manager's ensure the delivery, installation, live and derig experience to be as seamless possible for the client.
Over 30 kitchens are installed across the site, which include a range of refrigeration and kitchen and catering equipment, and the delivery and installation process takes over four weeks. In partnership with the event organisers, Jongor Hire produce CAD drawings of the kitchens, so the safety and flow of each kitchen is carefully managed. Whilst the event is live, we have our engineers on site working with kitchen teams and event control, to keep the busy catering operation running. With an average of 65,000 attendees per day and a catering team of almost 4,000, it is one of the busiest sites you can find.
After the event has finished, we work closely with the various other contractors on site, ensuring a safe and timely derig can take place, allowing the structures to be quickly moved to the next racing event of the season.
